Work Zone Technician Instructor Course
Description:
This one-day in-person instructor course will give you the tools to train an employee to deliver the 8-Hour Work Zone Technician Training Course at your Worksite.
PRE-REQUISITES: The Work Zone Technician class is not required to take this instructor course, however, attendees will need to complete the three online course modules totaling 1.45 hours prior to taking the in-person training.​​​​​

The Work Zone Technician Program is an introductory course that provides technical training for roadway personnel to learn to safely construct and manage the logistics of a Temporary Traffic Control Work Zone allowing for the safe movement of all forms of traffic. This training will help you understand how to teach this course to help workers manage safe work zones for all workers and roadway users.

This newly built version (early 2022) is designed to be an engaging and experiential with a revised Instructor Manual, multimedia, and a brand new tabletop activity kit that is highly interactive for participants to learn real-life scenarios in managing a Work Zone.
