Mobile Elevated Lift Platforms
Did You Know?
Operators of powered industrial forklifts and aerial access equipment (Scissors lifts and Boom lifts) must be fully trained and employer certified. Employers need an effective and comprehensive training program to meet this OSHA regulation. Participants will complete formal classroom training, practical hands-on training and an evaluation.
This Train-the-Trainer course is designed to meet the training requirements in the OSHA standards for this subject, although site-specific information may be added so that the unique concerns of each jobsite are covered as well. Each attendee will receive a wallet card demonstrating their successful completion. Participants will receive a power point presentation to use in training other employers on Mobile Elevated Lift Platforms. There is a pre-requisite that all students must have experience in using this equipment before they can train others.
This class has been developed to include discussions of the equipment itself, such as system of controls, hydraulics, steering mechanisms, seat fall protection and other safety equipment, as well as the environment in which the equipment may be used. Sample inspection checklists will be used. Participants will operate the equipment demonstrating knowledge and skill.
The Course Covers:
OSHA Regulations and ANSI Standards
Warnings & Precautions
Controls & Instrumentation
Capacity & Stability
Hazards & Classifications
Many companies are under the false impression that completion of a 10-Hour OSHA Outreach class satisfies OSHA’s training requirements in full … however it does not!
Course price Includes materials, breakfast snacks and lunch. Class size is strictly limited to 10 seats.
NOTE: Attendees must bring their harness.
